Fear

Hello, my darkest fear,
I have been waiting for you.
You are so far yet so near,
For so long I knew.

You will never give me rest;
This I have grown to accept
You dark beast that I detest
In my heart I have long kept.

You shall spur me further
Drive me to the depths of insanity
And when I meet you there,
Shall we continue this inanity?

Can I be the fear of fear,
The hungry madness of madness?
When I get to see you here,
Shall I not be your sadness?

So go, keep on your act,
But when I see you where or when:
Remember our pact.
Until we meet, then.
