The Heart That Wouldn’t Quit

The heart that wouldn’t quit
Is a heart that refuses to sit
Through moments of despair and trial;
It endures the long waiting while.

The heart that wouldn’t quit
Is a heart that will not flit
In the face of insurmountable tribulations;
A heart that laughs at the worldy afflictions.

The heart that wouldn’t quit
Is a heart that all have some of a bit
It is there when one chooses to fight
In the struggle of might against right.
