Where Dragons Dwell

Only in the movies do dragons dwell
Where royalty and government is noble
And where one can always tell
That the ending will be predictable.

Only in the movies does Kung Fu fly
And slice walls like butter knives do.
The place where realities die
For fantasy to live in you.

Only in the movies will a poor man be
Aspired by the woman of his dreams
A sight for all to see
A sight so true, it seems.

Only in the movies are hopes found
Our deepest desires to be pleased
By movie screens fixed on the ground
With the latest film released.

Only in the movies do I stare into space
To wish, to think and to ponder
What is it in this transient place
That makes us all live in wonder?
